Does anyone have a clue how to get the glowplugs to come on after the truck is plugged in all night? I am assuming that it senses warm coolant and thinks there is no need for glows. But its almost worse than if i dont plug it in at all. If i could bypass coolant senser until glow cycle is over...
CRAP!!!!! Just bought and installed new herzog injectors from them. Wish i had known about them not being so good. Well......to late now. My fingers are crossed!
"You may want to look at your air filter and always get air from outside the engine compartment."
I have a cone filter in stock box sucking air through fender. Snorkel missing. Not sure what else i could do about cool air. Maybe a side scoop on fender? LOL!!
I seem to have the same trouble as trainedpro. (see limp mode) At WOT going up steep hill, truck only i have 10 psi on autometer gauge in cab and i de-fuel and ses light comes on.:mad2: This is on the 96 truck in sig. I took a snapshot and this is what it said.

Thanks!! I am pulling radiators and cleaning out bugs/dirt etc. Also cleaning the fan clutch bi-metal strip so the fan may actually kick in.(adjusted it to! To kick in earlier). I was going to buy a ho pump, but i already have one! Bonus!

With my new job and never being home, i wont even have to change oil this season.
I usually average 10k a year, but this year i will be lucky to get 2k.
One other thing i didnt see mentioned is some Water Wetter. I seemed to notice a difference when towing my 8100lb fifth wheel camper. Just a thought. Everything helps a little!

What i found out is that the small plastic gears inside the cluster get old/wearout/break and if your speedometer still works it can be fixed fairly easily. There are some pictures of how a 95 and up dash cluster comes apart on chevytalk.org(very helpful). Not sure exactly how the older style...
Does anyone know if there is a do it yourself fix for my odometer? About a month ago my odometer quit working(trip meter too) but my speedometer still works. i tried doing some research but didn't come up with much info. Is there a gear that can be replaced that drives the odo? I was also...
