I know that the pulley isnt the balancer, the pulley is bolted to the balancer, if i grab onto the pulley it moves back and forth, im pretty sure its moveing the rubber inside of the balancer thats why it has movement.
I had my truck up on the lift today doing my oil change. So i figured i would check the balancer to see if it was tight. I can grab the pulley and move it back and forth, its somewhat hard to do but it still moves and i would say about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch back and forth. Would this be too much...
yes i know this is illegal, but has anyone done this. I figured i need a new hood anyways why not see what it looks and sounds like , i figure i can just turn my 90 degree down pipe to put up and then cut a hole and get a hood stack kit like this
It does not really bother me but if their was a way to get it clean I would and these 6.5 s are indirect injection I'm not really worried about it being black kow
Ok today i replaced one of my ebrake cables and the rest were in good shape and moved freely, i replaced the brake shoes also and my ebrake does not work. I have adjusted the brakes as far as they will go, the ebrake pedal goes does smooth but i guess its not pushing the shoes out far enough or...
Yeah no muffler, its straight 3inch pipe to the stack, I have a mendral pipe bender at my work, so when i get a chance im going to order some 3 inch pipe and make a nice exhaust to connect the stack better
I was wanting to replace the drums with disc because, the parking brake always seems to stick, and when its wet outside the brakes grab in the rear, but i think i might try to replace the shoes first, when i replaced the hardware i noticed that the shoes are starting to seperate from the rivits...
