Will a dmax exhaust fit the 6.5

It's been done before. I believe teh hangers don't match up, but the pipes can be made to fit. You stil lwould have to buy a downpipe for the 6.5 as the stock downpipe is the big choke point.
 
IIRC the OE dmax ex is 3.5" all the way out. Big oval muffler.. on an LBZ..

I run a LBZ Oe muffler on my 84 small block K10, 2.25" Y into a single 3.5" Sounds kewl.
 
Why not just buy a diamond eye turbo back, it's 4" made for the the 6.5 trucks and can be had for $260 with muffler and $230 without, free shipping too.
 
I got mine from here a few weeks ago and love it! I recommend getting it with the muffler, sounds sweet and didn't take away from the awesome whistle.

I like my diamond eye but I did put my old Dmax exhaust under my 94 even though it doesn't run, well it starts but it's rough and the tranny and tcase are out.
 
I used a stock cat back on my 01 from a dmax. Had to make a short pipe to go from my stock 6.5 down pipe to it. But then again mine is an 01 gas truck converted to 6.5.
