Couldn't tell yeah, I know on diesel place its still the ATT vs hx40 really ha ha I mean you got some guys trying to figure out how to put bigger turbos on. But a lot choose that ATT just for the fact its a guaranteed bolt on with no messing about, all parts are there that are needed to do it...

I usually use Brake clean, I use it on everything, works great to break down the grease and oil and move it out of the way of what ever your cleaning off, then it dries up so its clean afterwards

The groove kinda thing around the compressor I believe is for anti surge, so instead of turbo fart it lets air have a way around it with out damaging it, so I'd say in higher boost when you let off the fuel hard rpm drops fast, turbos still trying to make alot of air and boost but the motors not...

well the HX 40 is pretty straight forward, i have about 15k km's on it now, no play in the shaft, you do need to get a 90 degree elbow for it, but that only costs about 150 from the guy that makes them, i think it cost me before exhaust for the turbo swap with everything needed about 500 bux...
