Little update, I added a gallon of atf and a overdose of howes to 1/4 tank of fuel, keep in mind a 36 gallon tank so still decent amount of fuel. Let it idle 45 min before 20 mile round trip for lunch. Drove it decent at first then got more aggressive with it, usually drive pretty nice. Didn't...

I dumped a stiff dose of dextron 3 in it and I'll drive it on my lunch break. The return line is 1/4" iirc?

Haven't put a clear line on the return yet, not ruling it out or anything but when my 83 had air getting in it started like shit, this thing fires right up and runs smooth, but I'll get a clear line on it. Never been able to get it to do it unless under a load/acceleration not sitting still...

Been way too long since I've been on here, my 1993 was just way too reliable I never needed to monkey with it, finally retired it do to rust. Bought a 1991 2500 6.2 J code. Issue started a few months back when accelerating between 2,000 and 2,500 rpm it kinda cuts out or almost like a misfire...

IIRC removing the OS filter on OBD1 (94-95) trucks is not recommended. It's been found to not be necessary on 96 and up OBD2 trucks. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Agree with Just a number most likely the front crank seal oil getting flung around by the fan. Clean it up with brake clean, start it up and watch for drips.

Gotten lucky before with just a oil pump. Yea it's a pain but better than scraping the motor or the whole truck.

Bought a used bully dog GT. Previous owner did not return it to stock when he removed it. He now installed a H&S tuner. If i hook the bully dog back to his truck and return to stock will it still work or does the H&S write over all the bully dog data? Bully Dog can unlock it for $100 if need be...

I usually tighten the P.S. from underneath the truck... IIRC there is a spot in the bracket for a 1/2" drive ratchet... or use a pry bar BUT BE CAREFULL where you pry! I've seen someone poke a hole in the resivor before
