I blew my belt and its shredded.i cant find the old one or part number.since I eliminated the vacuum pump,its not stock.anyone have a belt number that will get me close..thx

morning folks..since I last posted my dually turned into "Christine"for some reason it turns off intermittently..i put an s&s pmd about a year ago..since then replaced the fuel solenoid cuz I thought it may be that. it will run perfectly then 2 seconds later it will shut off then may or may not...

got the blown fuse fixed...thx for all the help..it was a wire tucked behind the turbo..once again u guys bailed me out...anyway ive had a problem for a while with the heater/ac fan not blowin on high..now it goes off intermittently..i heard theres a small circuit board that controls it...or...

thx for the reply..my truck is a 95 gmc sierra ...I replaced the blown motor with a teds 506 about 4 yrs ago...the fuse that blows is the 40amp ign.A fuse and ur correct its not the glow plugs...upon further review the fuse doesn't pop til I hit the starter...im gonna go get some fuses and...

drove the truck a few times with the new pedal assy...checked codes none...seems to have fixed the prob.kinda weird that u can have all those codes and never get a light.the more i learn the less i understand....thx for all the help.

i never got any ses codes but looking in the archives someone posted that u may not get any,thats why i pulled the codes. as it turns out all 4 codes were related to the accel pedal position. i recently replaced the pmd, so i was pretty sure it wasnt that(although ive also read there are many...

cruise is working now pulled the codes all 4 of them are accel position related.. i assume ill have to replace the pedal assy. are these readily available .is it a dealer item or heath maybe. open to suggestions thanks

ok , i replaced the lift pump and oil press switch within the last 500 miles . i can hear the lift pump so i know its working. the engine never stumbles , it just shuts off as if i turned the ignition off.
