Check the lift pump its on the left lower corner of the block, it should have a hand primer try and prime it and open the air bleeder on top of the filter and see if it builds any pressure if not then the lift pump is bad

Well i sold the old 6.5 and bought me a 1996 dodge ram 3500 5 speed, 12 valve with the P7100 p-pump. 6 new tires, new lift pump, running no fuel plate, has new 5 inch exhaust paid 5800. Truck runs great and have lots of mods soon to come.

Got the new injectors in, changed the oil and she fired right up and runs great, took it for a drive it it was smokeing for awhile bec of the diesel fuel in the exhaust from the other mechanic flooding and hydrolocking the motor but all seems well now
