Well i sold the old 6.5 and bought me a 1996 dodge ram 3500 5 speed, 12 valve with the P7100 p-pump. 6 new tires, new lift pump, running no fuel plate, has new 5 inch exhaust paid 5800. Truck runs great and have lots of mods soon to come.

Sounds like a hell of a deal! How many miles? Is it a 4x4?

I would put the fuel plate back in it if it was me. Grind it to a 0 so it won't restrict fueling and slide it forward, but I've heard of to many locking at full rack from no fuel plate to do it myself.
