While welding in cab/rocker panels on my 97, I've been welding up and recycling lug nuts,rusty foriegn wrenches, surplus cut nails, and horse shoes. Voila crabs.IMAG0199_BURST002.jpg
 
Too cool. I can fabricate about anything, but just don't see the artistic side of life. Never would have imagined that in a million years.
 
My 13 year old neice showed me a pic of one. I in turn taught her to weld. I'm not a welder, but saw the opportunity to give her a new skill. I never would have thought this up either. My basement flooded a few years ago, so I have lots of donor parts for this project. Thanks
 
I love metal art too. I posted a thread about it awhile back. Ive done a few small things, but my brain does'int see what could be from a pile of junk easily either.
