In a wrecker you want something light and portable. We just bought a full aluminum jack at work for the wrecker. Thing weighs less than 20 lbs, yet can lift 2.5 tons.

The reviews of that 4 ton are horrendous. I was looking at the 3 ton aluminum the have though, does OTC have one like that?

Ashton, check out jack x change it looks like they have the same jack you posted earlier for a bit cheaper. The shipping from CA might kill the savings.

That's what I have. I would and do trust my life with it. Mine is atleast 15 yrs old and works like the day I got it.
