Just saw a UK car show where they took a maybe ten year old UK Ford with 200000 kilometers on it. a 4 banger stick, they dyno'd it and it was 20% off th original HP, there were no obvious engine problems. first they changed the plugs and airfilter, which gave a few horsepower back, then the plug wires which gave a few more but the most was gained with the fuel injector cleaner which was blurred out. In the end it was only a few points from original. My daughter's econobox is due for plugs just wondering who makes the "real" product and not some marketing bs

GM makes a really good cleaner, but it's not one you pour into the tank, it must be run through with an injector flush tool as it is harmfull to pumps and some fuel lines.
