Looking to see who has done what to their Allisons

from shift kits to converters to full blown Tranmissions down to TCM tuning...


Mines is a SC-V with a 1056 converter...No TCM tuning


just had it done few months ago at SunCoast...Got to meet Ron when there...I love the shifting...and...I think I picked up a couple of MPG's since the old TC was fried...

SC-III clutches w/ transgo kit installed by me in 2004, Co-Pilot from ATS added in 2005, TC from Precision Industries and Big Dipper mods Sept/2007.

Still running great.

A 4 year old Mike L SunCoast Stage III with a TTS Triple disk converter.
 
As of right now I have a Jr. that I installed about 8 months ago. For some reason it has managed to stay together. I have a stage IV and 1054 converter waiting to go in. I'm not sure what I will do as far as Tcm tuning.
 
I need a junior kit badly. I dont drive it hard but I'm just shy of 32k and its time for some trans service.
 
Im sure mine has pieces of clutch and stuff courtesy of ppe and my foot. :mad2:

Such a nice guy. I'd be happy to send you a ziploc baggie of beach sand if you like to sprinkle all over your floorboards like my truck has. Definitely easier to clean than salt stains. ):h

A Jr kit is in my future. I'd like to make sure this trans lasts as long as possible.
 
Hmmh, what do I have.

SCIII with SC1057.

Running transynd for fluid.

It flares its shifts in 2-3 though and sometimes 3-4. (never 4-5)....sigh!

What do you mean it flares the shifts? Does it slip? How much power are you running daily?

Well, I don't exactly know how to definitely say it is slipping.

When the TQ locks, its golden.

IIRC, I am running a 135 HP daily tune.
 
Absolutely NOTHING but Royal Purple Max ATF baby!! Have not Limped it once and I do NOT drive easy at all...but I don't drive like an a$$.
