Hey everyone i am trying to replace my oil cooler lines on my 91 Z71 350 TBI and it has those damn GM push lock connectors like the fuel pump connections, but larger. The quarters are very tight down there as they run right along the oil pan and the transmission brace (which I have removed for more room). what is the best way to get these damn things to release??

Blake, iirc, slide the rubber ring away fromthe fitting then take a pick and gently pry the clip away perpendicular to the line. It's a 3 sided clip like a snap ring. It's gonna fly across the floor if you dont catch it. To re-install put the clip in place before pushing the line back in.

Oil cooler lines should use the clip like mentioned above. It is the same style clip that the trans lines use as well.
