This is Hyperpac's live data, 90 h.p. tune running at 65 mph on the way to work.

I'll get a picture of the Predator 85 tune maybe tomorrow to compare both side by side.

Post your pics...!

Without guages, it'd be a guess, but with the way I drive, Im thinking "Too High" and "Buried" ...respectively.

Wow

Ya'lls reading makes me think that my gages are wrong. Mine run: Pyro 550f and Boost O-1 on my EfiLive 90hp tow tune. But I'll take some photos today. Good idea for a post Nick.

Well i ran out of highway and i ended up trying to do it on a short stretch of road. This one was right after wot.pyro looks to just be getting into the 900 range and the turbos were really at about 45lbs total i thinks these guages are a few pounds off but thats on me.Usually on the highway @70-75 my temps are 650-850 and the boost is all over the place b/c i like the sound of it.

Predator 85, running at 65, EGT's are 100 degrees lower and 1 lb less boost. I found that interesting...Everyone says thats a hot tune. Evidently not.

VA230 with a Predator 40 stacked. Cruise control was on so Boost and EGT's were fluctuating. I took several at each setting.

I see similar boost and EGT's with PPE 160 tune. Stock is about 50° lower and same boost.

So are my gauges incorrect? My boost is about the same as everyone elses, but my egt is lower. I have it mounted in the usual passenger side manifold. When towing, on flat land,I might see 800f to 900f with 8000lbs on the hitch.

I think it does too. I was always right at 1000 with a load and this was on both my trucks, the 04 and the 07.

I'm curious, of those that have replied:

Are you measuring boost at the cast aluminum manifold piece or are you using a SD Boost Manifold fitting and measuring it immediately post turbo?

I am just going to throw this out there but the discrepancy might stem from any pressure losses post intercooler & plumbing.

Gauge's in use

These are taken doing 70 truck doesn't like doing less on Highway and the 80 mph was on a gradual uphill grade. Tried 90 but road is moving pretty fast to be safe and take a picture :)
Predator 85 setting. Note the rpm at 80mph
