What am I missing ?

Kelley Blue Book lists it as follows for 08365 zip code:
Excellent - $16,000
Good - $15,375
Fair - $14,575

Looks like a good deal, but it has a dump bed so it might have been used purty hard. Possibly it's needin' the injectors replaced. All else being equal , it is a fairly good deal.

I believe the injector warranty was 7 years/200k, the warranty would have expired sometime in 2008.

Kenny if the balance rates check out OK I would say buy it.

It would make a nice tow rig. he has it posted again for 12K. I have had two people come look at the Dodge in the last 3 days and I have not ebayed it yet.

How hard are they to do ?

Marty (blizzardplowman) just did a set. Took him around 35 hours I think. While he was in there I think he did a few other things. Book time is like 16 hours for the injectors alone.
It would be a good weekend project for you Kenny.

Ouch. That is not a good sales pitch. Damn. I can do them in a cummins in like an hour. Maybe 3 hrs for a 6.5. what makes them so hard to do ?

Took me 7 hours to do my injectors in the BURB, and it is packed in there tight in the bURB. Also look at the transfer case and make sure it's full of oil and not running out from the back section AKA pump rub hole.

My push-button 4x4 is still working good after 9 years, of course I don't abuse my rig like some of these wildmen...):h

I have had injectors priced at about $3000 installed.

i would say if you could get it for 11500 and had to put 3k into injectors with someone else installing them at that price you would still be doing all right.....I never had a problem witht he push button on my 01 or my 03.....

Looks good, I say go for it.

With everything else I have seen you do on here injectors on a LB7 should be a cake walk for you.

Thanks. I am getting old though..and overwhelmed. it's about 20f here right now and I have to go out and rotate tires on my big truck and service them. Just get overwhelmed at times. I'd probably send that out. Sometimes there is just too much on the plate and I'm not all that patient in tight quaters. Hey wait...Lee's Auto Ranch does injectors... that's not even funny. Yeah I kinda figured if I could get it at 12 or under even 3k for injectors aint bad. I emailed him last night and am awaiting response if they have been done yet. The fact that he is selling such a nice truck at 104k that cheap leads me to believe it may need them. I wish I had a tech2 to run the balance(I'd have to learn how). I'm also looking at a Ford Excusrsion with a 7.3 I found but it's pricey.

I'd do it, if you can afford injectors soon after buying it. There's gotta be someone near you with EFI Live that can scan it.

Never had 4x4 issues in either the D-max and 02 Suburban and they both have push button. Over 210k between the two.
