Alright guys I'm new to the site but i be got a 82 mil version of the 6.2 back home v belt config all of that fun stuff. But I don't know what I'm gonna do for more power and torque already got it dipped checked over she's clear to go. Ive already got a set of ARP head studs for it an att is on the way now for it and I plan on getting it honed ported polished brand new stainless valves( old ones were garbage) maybe vlave springs to bring up the range on it a little more and its already got clevite rod and main bearings for it. But that's where I came up short on my power quest. I'm thinking about a brand new fluiddampr for it and injectors moving from chain to gears and I need a ho water pump for it. If you guys could throw out a couple suggestions for me Im open to everything and if y'all know of places that sell great reliable parts( moneys not an issue) for it please share! Thanks guys.:feedback

Drop in a 12 valve Cummins. Or if money Really isn't an issue a Duramax with an Allison behind it.

To keep the 6.2 make sure it has turbo precups in it as the NA cups limit your power and smoke at their limit. The Precups come out easy enough.

Lots of ways to spend money. In the long run or short term you just have to look at your goals and then throw money at it. Some things are not needed to reach a goal like gear drive if you pull the timing cover often... Other things like lots of power even a JATO rocket can't make everyone happy...

Where can I find a set of ho injectors at for it? And do you know of any place that sells injector lines and its running a stock multi fuel stastadnye pump on it. And war wagon you don't think stock military per cups will hold up? I can't remember the exact set of heads i m running haven't seen it in over 6 months but I do remember they were the best set the came out with. If I do recall they were great because of the spacing between valves so it was hard for them to crack. But anywhere where I can find a good set of turboed per cups cheap? And thank you burning oil definitely gonna check it out

Stock Bosch remans do fine 9 out of 10 times. For good rebuilt injectors from a credible builder Conestoga diesel is my choice. I have yet to try their pumps but warwagon has one of their stock rebuilds and they build the 6.9/7.3L idi Moose Pumps and there are alot of those on the road.

I'm not tryin to be to picky but I don't want to run any reman parts not a fan of them and I want it to be a fresh build blow life back into it but all I've seen for injectors that were ho were 6.5 injectors from heaths that wouldn't work for mine and those were 1000+ for not even a 35 HP gain not really worth it in my mind!

A stock reman using reputable parts are better than most made in India new junk. Reman injectors from conestoga were 300ish set to 2300psi. New injectors still need tested for balanced pop pressure and might need taken apart and reset.

Doesn't sound like the remans are that bad gonna have to look into them but I still got a lot of other things I have to worry about like lines chains etc. I've only got from the 18th of Dec to the 4th of Jan to build this beast( well build a lot of it )

Injectors will not gain you power, unless your old ones are worn out.

New IP's can be had for around $1000 or less or more, lol.

If you want power, think efficiency, so porting, coatings etc. Unless your going all out n/a precups should be fine, I can't complain but thinking about going to diamond precups when I install my GEP shortblock.

The "Small" 6.2 NA precups don't do well with all the fuel you can burn with an ATT. I have tried them with the ATT. You reach a power brick wall that just turns more fuel into smoke with NA precups and the ATT. 6.5 NA precups are the minimum smallest size you can get away with. The stock turbo is so restrictive that it doesn't care what precups you run - it can't burn all the fuel a 6.5 IP can throw at it without running way over it's choke point of 14 PSI. The ATT can burn all the fuel a 6.5 IP throws at it in the upper RPM thus after the turbo your next choke point is the precups.

A 6.2 IP maxed out delivers the same amount of fuel a factory 6.5 pump calibration has. So you want a 6.5 IP for max power.

6.2 Military precups left head (Bigger than civilian 6.2), 6.5 NA right head, and 1995 turbo precups sitting on top of the heads.
