I finally got the water/meth kit finished up yesterday. Comes on around 7psi and is at full injection by 14psi. I just dumped a gallon on washer fluid in, the good -20* stuff. There was absolutely no knocking or any detrimental effects. I am just using one 625ml/min (~10gph) nozzle for now. The sound of the motor got slightly deeper during injection. EGT's have cooled off about 150-200*F, which is nice, and there was a slight bump in power. I think in the future I may have another bung welded in and run a 625ml/min and a 375ml/min.
 
Sweet. Make a vid man. How was the install? I looked into this a while ago to do to mine, but could never get myself to part with the cash for a good snow one. I'm sure you will thank yourself later if you've ever gotta go inside it though. 25psi with no headstuds? You may be checking out those carbon-free combustion chambers sooner than you think lol
 
He's not the only one running that kind of boost on a gep 6.5. Others have had no ill effects, not to mention he's running a a freer flowing turbo that is worlds better then the stock junk gm turbos
 
Install was not bad. pretty straight forward. just took some time getting everything in order. I will upload some pics. It is definitely not a bad setup. It was hard to pass up a Snow Performance Boost Cooler Stage III with controller for $400. I'd say money well spent. And it was wastegated at 25psi. Never shit a headgasket. Now wastegated at a much lower 15-16psi. The install looks kind of harsh but when I finished it was 5:30 and I just wanted to leave and grab a beer. I will go back later and clean everything up and hide some wires and get everything in good shape.

Be very careful running washer fluid, its full of impurities. A Dmax guy did oil analysis every oil change then started using water injection, some levels went up dangerously, the bad kind, figured out what it was and stopped using it or got proper chemicals, oil readings went back to normal. Buy bulk methanol and mix with purified or distilled water if you want to make your own.
 
Washer fluid was more of a testing it out kind of thing. I got a few boxes of Boost Juice laying at my brothers house.
 
Looks cheesy but trust me, that tank ain't going anywhere.

idk Wyoming. Search commercial fuel suppliers, like if you wanted to find a supplier for a fleet. You can usually pick up from transfer yards and just buy a barrel or less. A lot of people used to open a "company" account and buy their "bulk" fuel from our transfer yard for the husband and wife cars. Some states are regulated to not allow it. Sometime this year I will be dealing with refineries up there and will know more about your chilly state...

I want to do water and propane inj. Got to get the motor and Banks set up done first. I can get Snow Perf products what part/model number did you go with?
