Truck Stop shirts?

I'm trying to get something going. I'll be putting up a thread for members input in a few days.

Hey all,

I don't really want to get into the design of the logo for the shirt or whatever you may call it. But as a thought....

A small local club had my daughter make up a design. Then they went out and bought some transfer paper at the local Staples (I'm sure it's available in lots of places). The paper comes in light and dark shirt types. They then opened the digital file used an ordinary inkjet printer and printed the image to the transfer paper and it was a simple iron on following the instructions. I believe the digital file would have to be fairly high resolution and the actual size of the transfer. Also keep in mind that after you print the image to the transfer paper, you will have to cut it out before ironing it. So keep the finicky cutting to a minimum. Any interior (in the image) could use a fill in IE: black for a black shirt and white for a white shirt. Does that make sense?

So... when you get the design done, perhaps you could post it, and we could make our own transfers and shirts. Then post pics of them.

I really like that idea then your not stuck with whatever shirt is the one used. Be alot more comfortable to use shirt of your own choosing.

I was thinking something along the lines of this...

an outline of our founders truck silk screened along with the TruckStop logo...what better way to say thanks...

of course with a bit less detail...

wonder what that would cost to get done?
