Tranny cooler location

Never understood why braided rubber lines. Just get hydraulic lines and it will not fail for so many decades.
Idk how long hydraulic lines last in extreme cold- but here on the dusty surface of the sun, I see heavy equipment still running original hoses on entire machines that were built in the early 50’s. I know nothing is forever but when hoses outlast people…

The sun destroys them down here. But it takes a very long time.
I will do that next time. I already ordered the new hoses.
