TH06E turbo on my 6.5

Yep its an add on. That just looks like it bypasses the bypass. Your MPGs are suffering at 170* get it up to 190-195* and you might gain 3ish MPG making it more effecient and pass emission test better since your worried about it.
Also with an OBDI tune its a simple matter of swaping the stock chip back in if you need to.
 
"buddy" makes a switchable 3 position chip, I'd hit him up, they are apparantly very good, so you can have your cake and eat it too.
 
Thanks you turbovanman, I finally got a hold of him last night. Soon I will be blowing out the candles and taking big bites

Basically he didn't want to become a vendor and that didn't sit well with the site. Alot of things were said and he left the site on bad terms.

I recommend kojo but can't say buddy has bad tunes. I have the 2nd tune he ever sold works good. Soon slims tunes will be done hopefully and there will be no question of which is better

Buddy is a good guy, just did not want to play by the rules here.

I have the latest tune from Dennis just have to get the burb buttoned back up to try it.

You left out the part of how he didn't want to be a site vendor here so instead he used PM's to sell in direct violation of site rules. He has now moved over to another place where they turn a blind eye to it as it has been reported to them several times now of him selling in PM's. I even had a member here send me a copy of the PM from DP where he was selling one of his tunes in PM there. His reasoning for not wanting to be a vendor was that he wasn't making much off of them, so he couldn't afford to be a vendor. Yet the PM that was forwarded to me last year showed where he was wanting $550 for one of his 4 position chips(he can deny it all he wants, but I seen the PM), and I just don't see there being $550 worth the materials to build one of his setups. And copies of his tunes were sent to me during the DIY tuning days, and the tunes were laid almost identical to another big name 6.5 tuner that he has admitted to seeing the tunes of.

So draw your own conclusions of the guy and his business dealings, but I sure wouldn't want to support somebody who feels he is entitled to having his but kissed, and won't play here unless we changed the site to his liking(I remember his post saying to the effect that he wouldn't be a vendor here unless some things changed here to suit him).
 
Well I wasn't going to go into full detail. Not my place, I was just giving the jist of the situation. For the record, I bought my tunes before I even knew of this site. I was on TDP or DP at that time.
 
The reason the staff at TTS gets upset so much about the dishonesty of what went down is we have done EVERYTHING we possibly could to make this forum a step above all the others in being totally fair to our members and 100% behind our supporting vendors. Seeing buddy's tunes promoted here is an entirely sore point with us and we react in kind. Multiple opportunities were placed in front of him on numerous occasions and he repeatedly took the dishonest route. Even to the point of rubbing it in our noses a few times. Water under the bridge at this point but the memory is still pretty fresh.
 
Sorry gents. Didnt know about all the history. I can't say it would change my mind on what tune I want. But I would have just tried to find it some other way. I am a newbie to this forum (or any forum) and just plain didn't know. I have learned a lot from the whole lot of you and am very thankful for that.
