It all started out with none of my lights working in the rear so I relocated the ground and the brake light and blinkers came back only. So i checked the fuses and replaced the blown 20 amp fuse and the reverse lights came back. The only ones that dont work are the tail lights for running at night. I checked all the grounds again and nothing is blown. Could it be the brake light switch? Is there another ground that im missing? THe third brake light does the same thing as well.

thanks in advance

confirming your front marker lights are working? Third brake light is not a marker light IIRC.

Agree check the front marker lights, If they work, most likely you have a broken wire. If not I would check you light switch I have had them fail or I have had one that would take 20-30 seconds to turn the head lights on but the markers worked fine.

Double check running light fuses. Probably blew one due to the bad ground. Possible switch damage as well from the backfed power.

Put the brake light switch in and it didn't change anything. I'm going to check it at night, it was prett sunny today but I'm pretty sure that they aren't working

little update. Ive taken out the trailer portion of the wiring and now when the lights are on and im in reverse the running lights work (at least in the back i noticed). I havent had much time to look at with my att swap and other cares needing more attention then this one.

Shorted wire somewhere. Maybe you nicked something doing the ground or there is bad wire damage where the ground was ruined. Maybe you grabbed the wrong wire and grounded it effectively shorting the running lights to ground.

Possible bad bulb or bulb socket/bulb installed or come loose where it is shorting.

Put a test light in the fuse socket. Remove all bulbs including the side markers. Remove dimmer rotary dial to eliminate dash lights etc.
