Mechanic removed the intake to fix the leak.....why ???
You don't think he pinched the OPS or another wire or forgot to connect the gnds on back of the pass side intake not knowing that is what controls the PCM and now it is not powering up?
Remember our discussion the other day when you found you had pinched the OPS wires, if something was working but now isn't unexplanedly, look to the last maintenance action performed, this case removed the FFM/hose and gnds by an "expert".
Todd I know you said you were time strapped, but quickest way to kill a 6.5 is to let a Diesel shop or stealerships "experts" you have never used before work on it.
I'm the only one I allow under my hood, in rare case if I'm out of town and my wife is in a bind/need for the truck or burb, I might let a mechanic under the hood, but only after they agree to my specific instructions, if they deviate they "own the screw up".
This case you mechanic wasn't quite honest apparently they did not really know about the injection timing of the 6.5, hence my question earlier to know how they attempted to time your truck.
To his answer to you, nothing on my phone as a missed call or a voice message from him for me to assit him figure this out; offer still stands, have him call me for some pointers.
