Rent a pmd/fsd?

mine kit has been ob 1o years now without a problem, drove it then parked for a few hours then no start ni signs of problems, no junk yard with a 6.5

not certain its the pmd it had no normal signs of faluire, but the pmd is a quick and easy check and i have no money to buy a pmd if its not the problem

GM's training said anything unusual or not obvious once you knew there is no air In the fuel system, test pmd. There is no real diagnostics for pmd. Replace with known good one is the diagnostic procedure from GM.

Owning a ds4 truck simply requires owning a spare pmd. It's like a spare tire. You don't need it until you do.

Dealerships charged 1 hour diagnostic fee and kept a good one mounted to a heat sink the heat sink had a hard wired ground with 30" wire and alligator clip to attach to battery. Then if it seems to fix it, they sell you a new one. I only worked in a chev dealership for 4 months, and tested 6 or 7 that way.

What exactly is going on right now with the truck, and what have you done so far?

IMO, PMD is like the spare tire.
Actually, I have not used my spare tire in this truck in the past 10 years but I have used 3 PMDs.
Unfortunately, I only have 1 spare PMD and 1 on the truck.
Personally, I cannot lend/rent it to anybody since I am not sure when I need one.
I guess, that is why you are have a difficult time to borrow even if you want to pay them.

Why don't you talk to Leroy, he can rent (to own) aka buying it for $150 plus some shipping.
You can probably find an industrial supply store in MI that can sell you a Heatsink for cheap.
