I spoke to Patrick at Walking J Designs. He's refused my $$ and will be shipping out the Feed the Beast fittings for DB-2 to you as his contribution to the project on Tuesday.

Patrick says hi to all :hello:

I got up with Leroy yesterday and ordered the fittings you'll need to make the OEM fuel lines adapt to the Walbro ordered. He's quick on shipping so they should be on the way shortly as well.

UPS says my stuff will be there Thursday. I tossed in another goodie as well. Member 635 may be in the area later in the week. If so, can he swing in to say thanks? He's got a soft spot for Vets and those who support them.

Maybe avoid using valve cover gaskets... I think the only thing available is cork and they are almost guaranteed to leak. My Optimizer came with the valve covers and oil pan glued on with the "right stuff".

When I had went through my motor, I used the valve cover gaskets and black RTV and it leaks on the passenger side. I'll be addressing that soon once I get back to working on my truck.

Maybe start a list of what you need still? If people see what you need they may have one laying around and willing to give it up.

I have a spare duramax fan clutch if that is needed to go with Warwagon's fan. Say the word. If I wasn't so damn busy right now I'd come down and wrench with you on it.

Items from Paul are mailed. I though a few other things in the box.

Were all dying for pictures or an update (Anyone home?:hello:)

Which air filter does it have; the flat panel or round cylinder? If it is anything but the closed box with round cylinder, let me know and will work on tracking one down.

And when it comes time for the build, am joining the crowd in asking for pics as there is a lot of expertise here that can spot things that need correcting just from a picture.

tony.miller;481294Is the down pipe suppose to be dented up.[/QUOTE said:
From the description, likely that it is an OE pipe. Exhaust replacement systems come with a replacement downpipe without dents. By the way, a 4" exhaust will come with a 3" downpipe as there is not much room for anything else.

it looks like oe pipe. the whole exhaust system is 3 inch. im trying to upload pictures but keep getting upload failed. anyone have time for me to email pictures and someone upload them for me?
