Need 4” exhaust from muffler back

At the risk of insulting, perhaps check with a local independent exhaust shop? Although, might need to check with a big-rig repair station as 4" is a bit large for the typical exhaust shop as many will only go up to 3". Never hurts to call though.

Summit sells a complete bolt up kit now, it's not the diamond eye but iirc their house brand.

Make sure the kit you get uses the ball and socket where the down pipe joins to the rest. Much easier to get it in correctly

Whatever I bought, I order the ball and socket to add to the system. As well as a flex to install in the same area.

I might have posted what all I bought. Stainless wasn't much more. Definitely a lot less than doing it twice.

I always try to go Stainless on exhaust. Buy once cry once.

And who the the heck has time to do anything twice?

Hopefully, I will find someone to hire or be able to do more myself in a few months.

If you put that in & don’t like the sound- you can easily diy in a muffler, a resonator, or both.
I mean, unless you want to Y split it and have a suburban with dual exhaust stacks!

Nope. Both are galvanized. I have never seen stainless. Current pipe went 15 years and only the section from the muffler back show rot and that is the part right behind the tire, on the back side.

I got the section from the muffler back installed. Had to trim the end of the tailpipe as it stuck out too far. Could not remove the stainless cover from the old tailpip, but I have a new one down in Fullerton. Replaced the rear hanger as the metal strap was broken, leaving it hanging lower and vulnerable to dropping altogether. New hangers are cheap on Amazon.

The tail pipe extension can be moved inwards or outwards and it changes sound pitch of the exhaust.
