MUST READ Brakleen+Welding=VERY BAD

Slme brake cleaners contain toluene, mix it with argon and you have a gas that can kill you in no time. I believe it was found mostly in chlorinated brake cleaner.
 
I'd not use any brake cleaner. Lots of other degreasers, etc to use. Chlorine = Chlorine gas, and we all know what that was used for...
 
You can use any cleaner you want, the trick is to not breathe it! Get some air moving and you're fine. Any gasses from welding aren't a good idea to sniff anyway!
 
Proves a little info is not always accurate. The stuff is really fine and reacts with everything and after its dry and vented its gone.
