Mitsubishi L3E glow plugs

It's been a decade

I bought a. 1998 Toro 223D with a Mitsubishi L3E engine.

Model 30223 Serial # 80205



I think/hope it needs glow plugs. I haven't looked at it yet.



Are there self regulating glow plugs available?



Are either of these numbers self regulating?

NGK Y-145T



Champion CH152



The last time I ordered Toro they were The Champions

Oi got the NGK number from a Mitsubishi dealer back then.

I have not done much searching yet. I don't know if Toro is still using the Champion glow plugs or what exactly is available.



The Toro glow plugs look to be selling for around $50 ea. That seems excessive.



Due to the counterfeit parts issue, I want to buy from a reputable source.

Or call the tech support line and ask come Monday and ask approved vendor while you’re at it.
