Hello all. I'm Big Ray and I live in Eastern NC. I've been the proud owner of a 1990 R2500 'burb with a 6.2L. It has 285K+ miles, and I love the hell out of it. It's a grumpy old truck, noisy and slow. Perfect for a grumpy old Grandpa who also noisy and slow! My Grandkids love it, my Darling Bride hates it, all is well in the world!
I've owned it for about 5 years, learned a lot but still have a ways to go. I also have an 86 k10 'burb (gas) just as a work truck.
Looking forward to being here.

Welcome Ray! Good man knows a good rig by his good woman hating it properly.

If ya ever desire a bit more pep and a slight increase in fuel mileage, I am one of a few here that has turned n/a into turbo. I wouldn't do it with those miles on the clock until it's time for a rebuild. That's good excuse time then.
