I am in the process of converting over to LED on my truck. In order to replace the turn signals I will need to make sure the flasher is electronic since a thermal flasher will not work with LED. I found the flasher unit under the steering panel and it is marked that it is for a trailer pkg vehicle. It sure sounds like a thermal but I cant tell for sure. Does nayone know which it is and even if an electronic is available ?
Thanks
Scott

I thought 05 was BCM controlled? I know teh 01 I had was BCM controlled as all the stock turn signal wiring went through it.

The Wiring prob does, but the Flasher itself is External.

The flasher looks just like that one, I doubt I am going to pop for the new one at $50. for asome reason it works fine with my trailer lamps that are LED and my mirrors. I may just try the fronts or the rears on the truck and see what happens.
