Hello all, I have been a professional mechanic since 1979. I bought my truck over a year ago with 315,000 miles on it for $600.00. It was ready for the junk yard, but I have spent a bunch of time on the mechanics of the truck. Completely new brake system including parking brake cables, Repaired the GP system including pinched wire and burned fusible link, with all new GM glow plugs. Repaired or replaced many of the computer controls and set the TDCO. I have started driving it as my daily driver a few months ago and have not had any trouble other than a hard start. I have new nozzles to put in the injectors when I get my injector tester finished. The truck still looks like it belongs in a junk yard but runs very well considering the amount of blow by I have. I will freshen up the engine soon.
