How do you all get 6.2s to 300K miles

Both of my trucks like the walmart TC-W3 (marine) two cycle oil. I will sometimes run about a quart in a full tank. most of the time I run the Stanadyne Lubricity Formula additive with the purple label iirc @Will L. was the one that said it's about the best for lubrication. it does nothing for winter gelling but is good stuff for keeping the IP happy.
Yup, I runnum both, except I been using the performance formula Stanadyne.
Maybe next batch I’ll try the lubricity formula.

The only place I've been able to find it is on the jungle site. no one local here carries any of the flavors of that stuff.
I think our NAPA store might have it on the shelf.
I’ll have to see next time i get in there, which is soon, my 1/2 gallon, or whatever size it is run out so I’ll be needing some before too long.
I have a square cat litter bucket in the back of the truck with a gallon of engine oil and two of those smaller refillable bottles within, along with a quart jug of two stroke oil.
All conveniently next to the filler flapper door. 😹😹😹

That's what I like the milk crates for. keeps all that stuff tidy in the back. When it slides, it all slides across together and doesn't play WWE in the bed LOL

NEVER RUN MARVEL MYSTERY OIL. NEVER EVER. I don’t care if you are disassembling the engine same day afterwards. It is an abrasive oil- like cutting oil. Anything it can do good- you are better to dump in gasoline.

I had someone send me the specs on some of the XPD stuff the one that is for lubricity and has no emulsion components- out performs the stanandye.

I wouldn’t add any performance enhancer. That is usually Methanol. Need a couple more ponies then bump the boost, adjust the timing, etc. stronger fuel is not good for these as we already lost real diesel.

Two stroke oil in small quantities helps the ds4 because it keeps the fuel clear.
A db2- he can dump in new (not used) heavy motor oil and have better results. Atf does better than motor oil because of the detergents.
How ds4 guys learn a good ratio- db2 guys can dump in without care.
Throw in a quart of 60wt when ya fill up, heck- 2 or 3 quarts. It wont hurt anything other than cost of the oil. And that high btu oil will bump the torque & mileage. Ds4 simply can’t handle it.
