How do you all get 6.2s to 300K miles

If you bend up buying new batteries, have them load tested before buying. New doesn't equal good.

I've rejected a lot of batteries. At Rural King, they ended up returning a whole pallet of bad, new batteries.

That was one time I forgot to load test before buying. I drove 45 miles home. Hooked it up. It didn't go. Charged it, let it sit 20 minutes, load tested. Drove back to Rural King. Tested every battery of the same group # they had. They all tested bad.
The manager rejected the whole pallet load. He apologized, wasn't his fault.

I've been preaching to load test new batteries for decades. The one time I forgot, it really bit me in the butt. Cost me hours of time. Not to mention, 90 miles worth of diesel.

When I do this in the autoparts store- workers are confused and managers not happy. I learned a $5 bill goes a long ways. Showing up when they don’t have a ton of customers also helps. They don’t have to do anything- you shuffle the batteries. Usually they only have 4-5 of the correct battery at most. So obviously the two healthiest go with me.

I'm not near so kind. Just load test the damn batteries and I will buy them or not.
I've only had 2 people balk at load testing before buying.
And that was quite a while ago. I think anymore counter people are used to crap parts. They hear about them all day long. Every day
 
From the video we can hear the batteries are under charged.
Driving down the road that’s the voltage- yes you’re alternator is likey dead and you wont make it 2 more days…

Alternator swap is easy. Find out what parts stores are in area you are moving to and buy the lifetime one from that store so its under warranty there.

A damn shame, another thing to replace
 
The rear window might just be a fuse or circuit breaker in the fuse box. hope it's not the window motor. if all is good, place a hand on the door with the engine off and actuate the switch and see if your hear or feel the motor trying. might be a bad spot on the motor or the regulator stuck.
