How do you all get 6.2s to 300K miles

I would think you should be able to call them and ask for rental services near you-

But figure out:
1. if you sell it as is, how much $ do you get.
2. How much can you sell it for if running right.
3. Wild guess cost of repairs- say $1000?
4. Towing it will cost you extra fuel of getting the trailer, towing, and dropping off the trailer. Plus the additional wear & tear on the truck. Guess the cost here-
Maybe others have input on estimating but i would guess it doubles fuel use. The risk factor of overheating engine or transmission???

How long before you move? This will factor how long you have to sell it & faster sell usually means selling for less.
Truthfully another reason why im not even wanting to bring it anymore.

Aside from the cost of repairs, the wear and tear on the 6.2 and 4L60E will cost me more in the long run, not trying to blow up the damn thing by attempting to get petty change.

Also, as of now until February sir

Yeah, if no specific reason to keep it, ai would sell it off. You can always turn around and buy a different lil run around car once there.

As for what parts to buy/ swap- belts and hoses are something usually neglected. On the hose clamps- buy high quality not low cost- clamps fail more often than hoses.
My favorite video on the subject:
I see no value in using them as a lifting chain- other than that, it’s great.

I always believe in keeping the old belt/hose as emergency spare in the rig when possible.
Check all fluid levels- maybe differentials & xfer case never get changed in some rigs…
