Nah I don't think John would sub out to China, I've got one of his original extensions from 2000 all black not China made

I can only say all the black ones I have seen have been "imported" and hey nothing wrong with it as long as you get a quality product and are happy. Also, all of the reports of bad/burned cables I have seen or heard about have been the black wire ones.

i doubt John would deal in chinese stuff,It works fine,but was at least twice your pricesame lenght
