After some wrenching, far above my comfort zone, I have taken care of two codes (P0251 & P0370). However, I now have code P0335 (Crankshaft Position Sensor).

I replaced the sensor with a dealer AC Delco one and had the same code. I convinced the dealer that I had a "bad" sensor and replaced it again with another AC Delco.

Still have the code.

I have checked continuity all the way to the computer and all checks out fine.

Any thoughts?

Thank you,
Todd

Try unplugging the CPS and see if it will start. It will take quite a bit more cranking than normal and when it starts it will be in limp mode. If it start this verifies that the optic sensor is working. Opposite will verify that the CPS is working.

I replaced the IP and that got rid of the other two codes.

I did not get a chance to look at the truck last night. Maybe Saturday afternoon.
