Fancy fueltration

My setup is a 10 micron racor with the heater, water separator and sensor. I pump fuel into it, and then up to the glass filter, next pump and 2 micron filter.
I keep getting goopy white stuff in the clear filter. Is this bio stuff growing?
My tanks are set up to be on tank one whenever the selector valves have no power, and tank two when they do.
What sort of valve do you have? Some select the sender with the tank switch. Another way is double or triple throw switch, with one throw controlling what sender is being read.
I can draw up a diagram if I know what valve you have.

@Nessmuk : Wish I knew about the stock selector; will explore.... (gotta punchlist another project, and have yet to delete tank sock). Would love to know your fittings list, system diagram, as a community service. What's your heater unit-- also a Racor? (Part# and link, please?) While I found none on first blush, that seems essential for any such system. And thx for the reminder, @WarWagon .

I'd like to add additional capacity, if possible to 60+gal (boonies-only)-- bbbut how/where?

Thanks, GM --for providing yet another puzzle in The6.5LVoodoo. [crickets]

The universal solenoid selectorvalves I used have only one size fitting, but both the 3/ and 5/16 hose fit over them. The racor heaters I have are built into the clear yellow fuel bowls. They also include a drain port and a port for a water in fuel sensor. I used the latest fuel hose, r30? rated, it's in my post somewhere. Don't bother with r7 or r16, apparently bio additivs degrade it.

This sounds like something growing. I recommend a biocide like any of the several mentioned here: http://www.thetruckstop.us/forum/th...ulsd-and-biodiesel-this-can-affect-you.35096/

You should test the fuel to see what's growing, but, test kits and labs are difficult to find.
