Exhaust manifold heat sheilds

The heat shield on My 2000 has two tabs on the injector pipe bracket that the heat shield plugs into those two tabs.
Then there is two small screws that holds it at the top near where the injector tubes mounts to the bracket.

Be sure to plug the exhaust down pipe and the turbo flange ports. I dropped a drift punch down the down pipe and had to disconnect it down underneath to get that critter recovered.
I could have left it in there to rattle around, didnt think I’d like that too much though. 🤷‍♂️😹😹😹

Mine was missing that head shield. when I replaced my injectors and return lines I made a heat shield out of the next best thing I had next to me.... cut up and formed one from a 24oz beer can LOL it worked for me HAHA.
