I haven't got the torx screws out yet, but I put the upper plenum back on. I have the OS filter removed with harness plugged in. Took it on a longer drive and it did fine - except for a very loud turbo whistle. Never had that before - I'm guessing my gasket shouldn't have been reused or I put the EGR blocker plate back in wrong. Maybe not really turbo whistle but a pressurized air leak? Didn't hear it until boost hit about 2.
Anyway, it ran fine while driving, but back home in the driveway, revved it up to 2,000 rpm and held it for a few seconds and it died with codes 18 & 19. Cleared those and restarted. Ran for about 30 seconds at idle then died and coded 19. Would disconnecting the crank position sensor be a good test? If it runs fine with no codes with that disconnected, would that indicate a bad CPS?
Here's a snapshot when I was running up a small hill at about 3,000 rpm. IAT got up to 154. Following that is snapshot after I was back home in the driveway and right before it died.
