I am currently working on an electro viscus fan clutch with a manual override switch that turns on at 195° and turns off at 175°. The prototype has been promising under normal and towing conditions. I just need to find out who would be interested in putting one in their truck. It uses a modified duramax fan.

He means probe in head, not problem in the head.

Problem with all the electro viscous is same as viscous- they do not lock up 100%. But being able to “tune” how hot they turn on/off is way nice.

What is lockup spec of the clutch you run Don?

Sounds like same spec as the on ak diesel driver found. The Hayden 3264.

If that is the one you are running, then one in Alaska and one in Cali running.

Cool! And yes, pun intended.

Oh yeah, iirc Hayden had the fall rate @ 6% to 18%.
