removed all head bolts,drown it in WD40,knocked the side with wood block and 3lb hammer but still can't loosen and remove it.
 
Can you post a pic or 3 of it from different angles?
Maybe we can see something.

Count of head bolts removed?
Intake, exhaust, crossover all removed?
Front brackets removed?
Grounding straps?
Passanger side head and automatic tranny dipstick?

Ive had some old heads that were a bear to pop off, but better to get some new set of eyes on it before chancing breaking something.

Thanks for the reply but the head came off today and I was happy till I saw the cracked piston.Junk time,not getting into the bottom end with 325,000 plus

Ok, over 325 I can't blame you. Whats the plan from here, military take out, new optimizer or?
