Not just a truck... a project.
So my low coolant sensor was not reading for a couple months. I knew I had coolant, so I did not worry (PO put leak stop in system to try to fix leaks, it coated the sensor).
I finally got around to cleaning the probe and off goes the coolant light.
I feel like the truck is running with a hair more power now... placebo or does the computer change parameters when it reads low coolant?
I drive steep grades at lower speeds and my truck is holding higher speeds at the same rpm.
You can tell me it is all in my head... I would believe it!
Finally have my guages, looking forward to installing injectors and chipping her before winter to improve glow cycles.
