What are the differences in a 3500 and 4500 Chevy dually rear differentials with the same gear ratio?

Difference in differentials.

The 3500 is a 10.5" 14 bolt full floater, 3500hd is a true dana 80, and the 4500 in a GM is a medium duty truck using a good sized spicer rear diff. GM hasn't built a 4500 like Ford did that was based on a pickup for a long time now.
