Just quit working out of the blue. :dead:

So I had a lamp assembly fail from good old AZ heat in an aftermarket gauge. Plastic fell apart and the bulb contact shorted to ground. This aftermarket lamp is tapped into the dimmer circuit. Now what do you suppose failed to protect the 5 cent fuse?

Like any good hardcore 6.5 addict I have parts laying around. I tried a different dimmer and problem solved.

Removing the gauge cluster bezel I have a small ceramic shard fall out. So this didn't happen when I took it apart. I am impressed it failed like this.
