I can relate to having to go an recover the skid steer.
We use our skid steer primarily to haul horse manure from the stable up to "Pooville"
Nicer than saying the $hit pile.
One of my boarders hauls up a load from her horses stall and then proceeds to get the skid steer stuck in the pile.
To make matters worse she fools around with it until she gets it laid over on its side in the pile.
Not totally horizontal but far enough that the upside wheels are off the dirt and the ROPS cage is in the poo. YUUUUUUUUUUUUUK
Add to this a 40 MPH wind and rain going sideways.
She has gone off the end of the "Haul Road" which I had graveled some time back.
Had to wade in with the Burb and a long recovery strap and yank the little beast out.
Worst part was the fact that the skid steer was facing away from the way it needed to come out and the back end of it did not have a place to hook a tow strap on.
IT DOES NOW.
We had a serious discussion about driving the skid steer and getting it burried in the poop pile.
Had a training session a few days later.
Not to mention having to steam clean the skid steer.
Oh yess the joys of owning a good 4x4.
