Ugh, so our 05 is now leaking coolant from the front of the engine bay, at a pretty slow rate, but a leak nonetheless. I'm guessing the water pump, but are there any other lines or things that are "common" for leaking in that area? It's likely going to have to go in to get worked on, I don't have the time/tools to do a WP. Just want to ensure that I'm not missing something. Thanks guys.

Considering the rate of the leak, I concur with that. A rubbed through hose would pretty much dump it all on the ground.

It could also be the turbo cooling hose buried down behind the fan idler. It is ak nown leak point down in front. If it is the water pump though, you will see traces of it on the engine and out the weep hole.

Ok. It's going into the local mechanic later this week, I just don't have time to trace it down and deal with it. Hopefully he gets it figured out.

Would like to see pics. I don't know what the coolant overflow hose looks like on an LLY but I had a near rub through on the LBZ so that's suspect too. I taped a piece of 3/4 heater hose around it.

In your pic that hose isn't hooked up correctly at the radiator side. The line that says rad up should be straight up, but in your pic you can see it is off to the side.
