Well this is the first snow that hit the ground and stayed for at least part of the day. These first pictures were taken in Fabius NY on Route 91 11/03/2012.

There was nothing for snow Sunday morning 11/04/2012. However there was a slight dusting today Monday morning 11/05/2012. This was taken at my apartment in the town of Fabius. Pompey hill got about the same amount otherwise i would have gotten pictures of that today on the way through.

Pictures from November 23rd 2012. In total we got about 2-3 inches. Not really a plowable event for me. Supposed to be in the mid 30's all week with a possible trace-2 inches tonight. Then this weekend its going to get up into the 40's and 50's.

Uncovered the plow and brought it up last weekend. Seemed to function good. The hydraulic hoses are getting very weathered, the rams are due for replacements and the blade needs some holes patched. Hopefully i can push through this winter.

where your blade bounces up and down and leaves marks rather than plow smoothly

Ahh. I see what you mean. It's actually pretty smooth without shoes on rock drives. I had issues with one drive because the center between the tires tracks was raised grass. What a nightmare. I bought a set of shoes this year to test out there.

mine does it no matter what the surface. if I'm pushing a good size pile it's fine but when I try to clean up it's terrible. I've tried a couple of diff positions on the blade angle but doesn't seem to make any diff. from some of the reading I've done sounds like it is a more common occurence when you add a cutting edge, which I did.

Actually when I bought the truck it didn't have a cutting edge. And was worn so bad it was almost sitting on the spring perches. I found a cutting edge at the junkyard and installed it to prevent more wear. My plow a frame sits almost parallel with the ground. I know there is some special angle that they say works the best.

Picture taken at work on December 05, 2012. Snow accumulated about 1'' by 6 pm then quit. This was taken in Cazenovia, NY at my place of employment.

Not to get off subject but how did your mpg jump so much?

Not saying you cant get 21MPG highway but your fillups dont show it and I'm confused.

EDIT: NVM, I figured it out. Your partial fill up must be throwing it off until you finish the tank.

Take the plow back off Mike or it'll NEVER snow there... :D

It was a poser lol. Just pulled up to the plow. The only time it was on was the trip up to the pavement from under the back porch. I you would not believe all the guys driving around with plows on! I'm anxious for snow but I guess not that anxious!

You got it Tanner, i was like WTF also! Until i figured it out. Tell you the truth i dont think i could ever hit 21 normal driving. Best ive done so far is 19.9 refill calculated all highway for 80 miles. My paycheck has been sucking big times, so i havent been able to swallow the 100 buck at a time fuel ups, so ive been doing partials to keep my tank over half and stretch my dollar in case i need it else where. I get paid today so we will see how the check is, if its any good i will fill it up.
