thanks! iv got lots bigger tranny problems now but thats going in a differnt thread!

here are the pic of what is worn on the clutch/springs/and flywheel

Maybe i'm wrong,but was that plate put in correct,should that side not have faced the tranny?

I was thinking the same thing. the transmission side has all the springs.

They still stick out the other side,I have had the springs hit on some gas motors.

IMO the center should be offset enough to not come in to contact with the fly whl bolts even with a worn lining.

that's what my last clutch had. there was no lining left and the center never touched. could it be somebody used the wrong clutch?

Either that or a machinist chewed to much of the flywheel.

i was thinking it was the wrong clutch. i just had the flywheel turnd and it mic'd fine when he was done.
