ATT can be clocked easy as well. With 18 PSI of boost on the ATT IMO an intercooler really isn't needed. (Some old threads where the intercooler added some, dare I say it, lag to the ATT.) 24 PSI out of the HX40II for sure will benefit. (Same HP/TQ at the wheels on rollers when I tested both turbo's and different boost from each.) Cooling the hot air is an issue with the lack of airflow our body style has, add AC demand and AZ heat... But, don't let me discourage your adventure.
While you are choosing your adventures and unknown what your goals are
I recommend the flatten you in the seat BD spool valve on a ATT.... Results and then you can worry about an intercooler...
