I bet those covers would look good for 500 miles in a diesel.

Gapless rings might be a necessity before the clear valve covers, at least on a diesel. LOL

Oil splash all over the inside of the cover would negate the advantage of a see-through valve cover in about a minute of running. They're nice for a static display show car if you want to show off the roller rockers, also the plexiglas would become unstable (melt) at engine operating temperatures.
