I bought picked up a set of rims off a 2500 HD for my son's C2500. The rims are not in bad shape but they do have some rust on the inside of the rims. What is the best method/product to clean these rims up prior to mounting new tires and placing them on the truck?

Thanks for all the help.

Will, if there's rust, they'd be steel;)

Maybe try a rust convertor, then prime and topcoat. Otherwise, sandblast and get an epoxy on them.

He said rust, so yeah-!

I was thinking corrosion of aluminum possible.

Leroy's cooking simple green iirc brought nice results. Or the baking soda/ electrolisys trick.
